4-Day St Kilda Tour Itinerary

Your tour is crafted for comfort, scenic variety, and maximum flexibility around the essential two-day St Kilda weather window.

Day 1 – Travel to Harris via the Cairngorms National Park

I will collect you from your accommodation in Glasgow or Edinburgh. The journey north and west takes you through some of Scotland’s most dramatic scenery, including:

After a beautiful ferry crossing to Stornoway, Lewis, we will drive to the Isle of Harris, where you will stay for three nights.

Days 2 & 3 – St Kilda Weather Window

Reaching St Kilda requires suitable sea conditions. To maximise your chances, your tour includes a two-day weather window for the boat trip from Harris.

If the boat trip is on Day 2:

Early departure from Leverburgh
2.5–3 hour sea crossing, followed by up to 5 hours on Hirta, St Kilda's main island
Village Bay exploration on Hirta, including the museum and the abandoned village, church and school
